As highly social fish, they should always be kept in schools of at least six individuals. Turquoise Rainbowfish are omnivores with hearty appetites and readily accept high-quality tropical flakes, floating pellets, frozen bloodworms, brine shrimp, daphnia, mysis shrimp, and other live or frozen foods. A varied diet helps maintain their brilliant iridescent coloration and supports healthy growth.
Their peaceful temperament makes them ideal companions for larger tetras, Corydoras, peaceful barbs, danios, gouramis, Geophagus, Severums, and other non-aggressive community fish.
