Tropheus Duboisi change their appearance as they age! What starts off as a small, dark fish with iridescent speckling becomes a 4-5 inch fish that is almost all dark blue/black except for its band of yellow/green going down its back and behind its gills! This fish does better with some space (especially being kept with other fish), so a tank of 75 gallons or more is generally recommended. Tropheus are best kept with other cichlids with the understanding that they tend to become more aggressive during breeding season. All pictures shown are for illustration purposes only. Actual products may vary due to natural variation with livestock.
