The Tiger Pistol Shrimp is a striking freshwater aquarium specimen known for its bold orange and white striped pattern. This small but fascinating shrimp reaches about 1.5 inches and thrives in planted tanks with plenty of hiding spots among rocks and driftwood.
These shrimp are peaceful community members that spend their time foraging along the substrate and decorations. They prefer stable water conditions with temperatures between 72–78°F and slightly acidic to neutral pH. A 10-gallon tank or larger works well, though they do best in groups.
