This fish uses mimicry to catch its prey, floating lifelessly like a leaf in the water until the opportunity to ambush and attack. The Leaf Fish opens its mouth so quickly that the fishes prey gets sucked into its mouth! (Their mouths are roughly 60% of their head size, making sucking up prey items even more successful!)
