Prime is a complete and concentrated conditioner for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. Stability will quickly and safely establish the essential aquarium biofilter in freshwater and marine systems, preventing fish death from "new tank syndrome". The formula contains a synergistic blend of aerobic, anaerobic, and facultative bacteria that help to facilitate the breakdown of toxic waste organics, ammonia, and nitrates.
Pristine uses a non-chemical and natural method referred to as bio-augmentation, to improve quality of the water.
