Have you heard of a Red Tiger Lotus? It’s a very popular type of lily that can be the most beautiful center piece in your planted tank. Since this plant does require medium to high light, it grows quite fast, as fast as a few inches per day with the proper lighting. It does have the ability to grow in low light conditions but it won’t look as red and won’t be as strong. Reaching a length of 30+ inches it does require quite a bit on nutrients such as root tabs or liquid fertilizers, it also uses carbon dioxide and light ones the leaves reach the surface.
