Their small size means they require very little food and often scavenge leftovers throughout the aquarium.

If one anemone is lost, the crab can often divide the remaining one, allowing each claw to once again hold its own "pom-pom." This extraordinary adaptation makes the species one of the most unique crustaceans available to marine hobbyists.
