The Phataria Starfish, also called the Colored or Pacific Sea Star, is a striking saltwater invertebrate with long arms and colors ranging from tan and brown to green, blue, or reddish tones. It spends much of its time moving across live rock while grazing on algae, biofilm, and other organic material.
This sea star is best suited for a mature, well-established aquarium with plenty of live rock and stable water conditions. Slow drip acclimation is important because starfish are highly sensitive to rapid changes in temperature, salinity, and water chemistry. Never expose it to copper-based medications.
