Percula Clownfish (RS)

The Percula Clownfish, scientifically known as *Amphiprion percula*, is a vibrant and hardy addition to established saltwater aquariums. Recognizable by its distinctive orange coloration with white bands outlined in black, this species thrives in reef environments with host anemones, though it adapts well to captivity without them. Perculas are peaceful, social fish that do best in pairs or small groups and require moderate water flow with plenty of hiding spaces. They feed readily on quality marine flakes, pellets, and small frozen foods. With proper care—stable water parameters, appropriate tank size, and compatible tankmates—these iconic clownfish can live 6-10 years, making them a rewarding choice for both novice and experienced aquarists.
