The Long Fin Serpae Tetra is a stunning variation of the classic Serpae Tetra, admired for its vibrant ruby-red body, flowing elongated fins, and bold black shoulder spot. Although generally peaceful, Serpae Tetras can occasionally nip the fins of slow-moving or long-finned fish if kept in groups that are too small. They do best with active community species such as Corydoras, larger rasboras, rainbowfish, danios, and other medium-sized tetras. Avoid housing them with delicate long-finned fish like Bettas or Angelfish in smaller aquariums.
