The Kubotai Rasbora is a vibrant nano schooling fish prized for its brilliant fluorescent green to yellow-green coloration and energetic swimming behavior. Also called the Neon Green Rasbora, this small species appears nearly luminous under planted-aquarium lighting, creating a striking visual impact against dark substrates and lush vegetation.

Native to freshwater streams in southern Thailand and Myanmar, Kubotai Rasboras thrive in clean, well-oxygenated water with gentle to moderate current, abundant plant cover, and open swimming space. A mature planted aquarium provides an ideal environment for this active species.

These peaceful omnivores require appropriately sized foods. Quality nano pellets or finely crushed flakes form a solid foundation, supplemented with small frozen or live foods such as baby brine shrimp, daphnia, and cyclops. A varied diet maintains healthy growth and vibrant coloration.

Kubotai Rasboras are highly social and should be kept in groups. A minimum of six is recommended, though groups of 10 or more display more natural schooling behavior and create a more impressive effect. Their small adult size (0.75–1 inch) makes them excellent companions for other peaceful nano fish, dwarf Corydoras, small rasboras, and freshwater shrimp.
