It doesn’t get much cooler than Glass Catfish! These catfish are a bit different than most others. They like to swim freely near the middle/bottom portion of the aquarium, and just like their name suggests, they are transparent. They are known to be shy when first adding them to your aquarium, but will usually get comfortable and move around the whole aquarium. Another important concept of keeping Glass Cats is that they like to be kept in schools. This will make them feel much more comfortable in their home. They do best in 30+ gallons of water and should be kept with other peaceful fish. To mimic their natural environment, plants should be added and the water should be kept well oxygenated and moving.
