Fire Shrimp

Fire Shrimp are vibrant red saltwater crustaceans prized by aquarists for their striking coloration and active behavior. These hardy cleaners thrive in established marine tanks with plenty of hiding spots among rocks and coral. They feed on algae, detritus, and small parasites, making them excellent additions to reef systems. Fire Shrimp prefer stable water conditions with temperatures between 72–78°F and moderate water flow. They're generally peaceful but may hide during acclimation. A minimum 20-gallon tank is recommended, with live rock and sandy substrate to support their natural foraging behavior. These shrimp can live 4–6 years with proper care, adding both beauty and functional cleanup to your saltwater aquarium.
