Calcium promotes healthy shell growth in aquatic turtles. These blocks must be used in conjunction with UVB lighting and a heat source to ensure shell development. Turtles suffering shell deformities may have a calcium deficiency. Check with your vet and be sure to have a stock of calcium blocks on hand.

Simply drop calcium block into tank water. Also suitable for tanks containing snails.
