Red Texas Cichlid

Since this fish does grow around 12 inches a minimum tank size of 75-gallons is required but as always, the more, the better. Red Texas need a balanced diet of meaty foods as well as vegetation, such as live feeders, frozen foods, flakes, and pellets, they are not picky eaters and will eat most foods you give them. Some tank mates for these beautiful fish include Oscar’s, Jaguar Cichlid, Jack Dempsey, Large Catfish, and Common Plecos. All pictures shown are for illustration purposes only.
