The Bluehead Wrasse is a vibrant and active addition to established reef aquariums, prized for its striking coloration and beneficial behavior. Males display brilliant blue heads contrasting with green and yellow bodies, while females present more subdued orange and white patterns. These wrasses are natural reef cleaners, feeding on small crustaceans and parasites that can affect other fish. They require ample swimming space and plenty of hiding spots among rockwork to feel secure. Best suited for tanks of 75 gallons or larger, they thrive in stable water conditions with temperatures between 72-78°F. Hardy and relatively peaceful with compatible tank mates, the Bluehead Wrasse brings both visual appeal and ecological balance to your marine environment.
