They readily accept a varied diet of high-quality tropical flakes, floating pellets, frozen bloodworms, brine shrimp, daphnia, and other protein-rich foods. A balanced diet helps maintain their brilliant coloration and overall health.
While hardy and relatively easy to care for, Blue Paradise Gouramis can be territorial, particularly mature males. They are best housed with similarly sized, peaceful to semi-aggressive tank mates that are not prone to fin nipping. Providing ample space and visual barriers helps reduce territorial disputes.
