Guppies are one of the most popular freshwater fish in the hobby. Male Guppies reach 1.5" while female guppies can reach 2". Because of their small size, you do not need a large aquarium, but they are very active swimmers, and because they breed so often, a tank of 20 gallons or larger is best. Guppies are peaceful fish and can be kept with other community fish as long as the other fish will not nip at their fins.
