L046 Zebra Plecos are gorgeous 😍 Zebra plecos grow to be about 4” long, so are ideal even for smaller aquariums. They need a minimum of 20 gallons for one, but if you want to house a couple then 30+ gallons is best. They need a high protein diet and do well on sinking pellets, frozen or live foods such as brine shrimp and they will occasionally eat on blanched vegetables or algae. Zebra plecos are shy and nocturnal, so they need many hiding spots to feel comfortable in an aquarium. When feeding, be sure to feed them in a quiet spot to ensure they get food.
