The ultra-durable Repti Tuff is specifically designed to withstand high humidity and incidental water splashing that would cause traditional heat lamps to fail or shatter. This long-lasting lamp features an average burn life of 2,500 hours, and can be paired with a thermostat or rheostat for increased output control.
ReptiSun 5.0 UVB Compact Fluorescent Lamp (13 W)
The Zoo Med ReptiSun 5.0 Mini Compact Fluorescent Lamp is perfect for all tropical reptile and amphibian species, providing 5% UVB, 30% UVA, full spectrum output. This lamp uses a special UVB transmitting quartz glass for maximum UVB penetration, and screws right into standard threaded sockets (no separate ballast required). The UVB emissions help prevent and reverse the dreaded MBD (Metabolic Bone Disease), while UVA increases feeding, mating, and other natural behaviors.
